Abstract

One of the important issues in the scientific authority of the Qur'an is the examination of its foundations. "Fundamentals of the scientific authority of the Qur'an" are those doctrines in various fields such as anthropology, epistemology, etc., on which the proof and acceptance of the scientific authority of the Qur'an is based. This article investigates the foundations of the Qur'anic scientific authority of the Qur'an in Islamic theology and philosophy with a descriptive and analytical method and answers the question that the acceptance of the scientific authority of the Qur'an in the field of Islamic theology and philosophy is based on what beliefs about the Qur'an itself.

According to the results of this research, the foundations of the Qur'anic scientific authority of the Qur'an, are divided into two categories: the foundations of the existence and truth of the Quran, such as the originality of the Qur'an, life, Immortality and universality, comprehensiveness and shared territory, the multi-meaning structure of the Qur'an, and the foundations of the language and knowledge of the Qur'an, such as being comprehensible and interpretable, Showing external reality and knowledge about it, The possibility of philosophical understanding of the Qur'an
